Interested in selling your content on Bookworld? Bookworld eBook service is powered by our partner, Kobo. If you own the digital rights to your content - be it one title, a thousand titles, or more - Kobo, can make it happen.
Protect your content
Kobo supports Digital Rights Management capable of preventing unauthorized use, copying, sharing, or printing of your works. Kobo uses its own DRM for mobile and web reading. For offline, desktop reading and eInk devices, Kobo uses Adobe Content Server and Adobe Digital Editions to protect both ePub and PDF files.
Sell in one country or around the world
With users in 190 countries, Kobo is the leader in managing publisher territorial rights. Using ONIX or Kobo's Excel title information templates, you can restrict sales to a particular territory or make them available to the world!
Sign-up quickly and easily
Just contact content@kobobooks.com to set up an account and start bringing your content to a whole new audience of readers on the go. Kobo will send you their Publisher’s Agreement for review and begin discussion to determine how best to receive and process your ePub files. Is your content in some format other than ePub? Then perhaps you’d like to take advantage of Kobo's ePub Conversion Service
Kobo only accepts ePub files for sale. ePub allows Kobo to provide a consistent reading experience on screens and devices of any size. But just because your content exists in some other format (ex. PDF, Word, XML, Quark) doesn’t mean Kobo can’t sell it. Kobo will take your files and convert them into properly structured ePubs and, because they only charge you what it costs to convert your content, it may cost you as little as $29 (or $22.50 for OEB and XML files) per title. On top of that Kobo will provide you a copy of each ePub file which becomes yours to use as you see fit. Drop Kobo a line at conversion@kobobooks.com to find out more about the program.
