I couldn't wait to start this book. Abbi always leaves us hanging, in a good way, for the next book in this series. I was curious as to why the two characters in this book had their personalities and what had shaped them that way.

Jason Stone, brother of famous rockstar Jax stone, from Sea Breeze series book 1; has constantly been living in the shadow of his brother and under the pressure of his parents. He is expected to become someone he’s not, and is sick of people telling him how his life is going to be. Jason was an easy going guy, he was use to his brothers fame and took it in his stride although sometimes he just wanted normalcy. Returning to Sea Breeze to Jax’s house for some down time will turn his world upside down and make him want things he never thought he would want.

“Go! Go! Go!” She demanded. She didn’t even look my way. Her eyes were focused on something outside. I turned my attention to the side of the road where she was intensely watching. There was nothing… then a guy came bursting out of the woods with an angry snarl on his face and I understood. No wonder she was terrified. The guy was huge and looked ready to murder someone."

Jess hasn't had the easiest life. She's had no choice but to grow up fast, she's strong and doesn't take crap from anyone. Living with her mother and being an only child things were tough. Her mother wanted more for her reminding her she could make something of her life and not end up like she had. A bad relationship has her surrounding herself with men that didn't have meaning, it was easier to deal with. Running from her crazy ex one night she flags down a car and jumps in for help. Getting into a car with a 'stranger' is not what she expected; especially not this particular stranger.

Jess and Jason are no doubt attracted to each other but they are both from different worlds. With his parents breathing down his neck about his future and her mother warning her off a man like Jason. Can they really get past their families doubts or will their overbearing families push them away from each other? Or make their attraction stronger?

“I don’t get possessive. I can’t get possessive. I don’t have time for that. You are making me feel that way, and it doesn’t fit into my world. I was trying to distance myself.”

I read this book in one sitting and I'm so glad I did. I couldn't handle not knowing what turn their paths would take. Abbi has a way of making you want to turn the page and forget everything that is going on around you. I cant wait to see what happens next in book 7, Bad for you.
