This book is absolutely fantastic! The Gruffalo teaches children the joys of reading in a truly exciting way. Children learn about reading and language through the books rhyme and alliteration. I definetly recommend it (as well as many, many other Julia Donaldson books)!

My 18 month old LOVES this story. A beautifully written children's book. The story rhymes which is great for language development. It's a fun story and you may find yourself chasing your kids down the hallway saying "But who is this creature with terrible claws and terrible teeth in his terrible jaws...)"
