For me the sequel of If I Stay was exactly what I needed in order to complete the series. It built a good storyline and did increase the interest I had in the characters, wanting to find out what would happen with them. I am a big fan of Mia and Adam's love story, meaning that I did want to see more of their relationship and not only their lives separately, something this book did give me greatly. Although narrated from Adam's perspective, differ net from the first book I found it intriguing and capturing to be able to be inside his mind and see how he thinks and how he felt and perceived Mia. I just loved being able to enter Adam's mind and thinking. Such a fascinating duo logy. I am extremely pleased with these books and their turn out, I would not mind seeing the second book also being adapted into a movie sequel. Also quick reads if you are looking for something small and light to read.

A perfect ending to a perfect set of novels.

Some may think this book was more emotional than the first (If I Stay) but I didn't find that to be so. The first was gut-wrenching, sad and very, very emotional because of what Mia went through. This one was from Adam's POV and he was just left angry, confused and frustrated, which is the theme from the beginning. But half-way through, when he meets up with Mia, it's more about reconciliation and finding happiness within yourself.

I liked how Gayle Forman told the story in two parts, in two time-slots, in two-voices. It showed the ripple effect of a tragic event not just being painful to the one that survived an accident, but to others that were around her at the time. It was beautifully crafted and the ending couldn't have been any better. I was cheering them both along and hoping against all hope that they would patch things up because they were so perfect together.

A fantastic finish to a brilliant story!!!

'Where She Went' answers all those questions that 'If I Stay' stirred up at the end. I loved every bit of it, and how realistic and possible the events can occur in reality. Gayle Forman has put my heart at ease with this sequel; I am absolutely pleased I found such great novels written by such a great writer.
