"My hope is that the book goes some way to helping people live more courageously, more honestly and with more love for themselves and others."
Charlie Mackesy

"From seemingly divine inspiration Charlie drew the most beautiful images of the boy, the mole and later the horse and fox. Their cosy, timeless and relatable beauty give people a moment away from busy, modern culture; to harness a nostalgia they had no idea they needed. His characters hit home in a way that has helped thousands of people. Charlie’s work has given people the licence to be vulnerable again (even grown men), and to remember the importance of all the things recent society has not valued as success - kindness, openness, honesty, connection, wonder, friendship and love. The world needs Charlie’s work right now."
Miranda Hart
